Details matter: in order to redefine what security means, it was necessary to combine a wide variety of different materials, synchronize a huge number of process steps, and bring together expertise from disparate technical areas. Individual components are subject to the same exacting requirements as the car as a whole. For example, the vehicle floor is fitted with an aramid-underlaid steel plate to protect against hand grenades.
