Attack Alarm & Intercom System.
An attack alarm causes a siren to sound for 30 seconds, while the headlights also flash on and off. For added security, all doors are locked and windows closed.
Pressing the alarm button causes a siren to sound for 30 seconds, in time with the vehicle’s hazard warning lights. The headlights and fog lights also flash on and off. For added security, all doors are locked and windows closed (note that there is no pinch protection). The alarm cannot be deactivated during this 30-second period.
An intercom system allows occupants to talk with people outside the vehicle without opening the doors or windows. An intercom system is therefore fitted as standard, so that passengers can be heard without opening a window or door. The microphones are so sensitive that passengers are also able to listen in on what is happening outside.
